BRIEF OVERVIEW
Affiliate Programs are the best source of earning extra income if you have your own website, or if you can refer people
u know using text links, forums, classifieds, chatrooms, e mailing etc.
I discovered many different online websites have AFFILIATE PROGRAMS that pay you commission every month for refering/directing
people online to their website. You then earn commission if users following your link purchase an item/product from
that website, and or becomes a member of the website. This works much like a salesman making commission/spiffs in a retail
outlet store such as Lowe's, Circuit City, or Walmart except your not selling anything here, your refering people online to
these websites to make a purchase and complete a sale. So the same principle of a salesman is basically how
affiliate program's work.
Each website's affiliate program is free to join and be a member of. Each website that has an affiliate program works
differently in what amount/type of commission they pay. Some sites might pay 40% commission, others might pay 2%.
Some websites just give you a one time commission of lets say $50 if you refer a new member to their website. Its up
to each website to decide what they are willing to pay their affiliates in commission. Be sure to read about each
affiliate program at their website for more info on what they specifically pay out for commission. All of these affiliate
programs send out commission checks each month, some of them let you choose via paypal, and even sometimes direct deposit.
I have listed many catagories of affiliate programs that I use every month. This isn't another get rich quick and into
financial freedom website where your gonna make $2500 a day. This is simply a list of all the affiliate programs that
generate extra income for myself and family each month. If an affiliate program I've used doesn't get me commission, its not
listed here. I mainly put banners and text links on many of my websites and on google/yahoo search engines via ads to generate
more online users seeing my links. I've just started this website in NOV/2006, and I'm still listing all the affiliate
programs that I use. I've started out by listing the ones that have worked best for me.
All in all, with around 100 affiliate programs that I use, I generate around $1000-$2000 a month in affiliate commission
checks. While I'm not rich doing this and I still have my day job, an extra $12,000-$24,000 a year is nice extra income.
I've been doing this for a few years and I allways average at least $1000 a month in all my commission checks. My best
month of commission income, for all my affiliate checks was $2800 total, which is amaizing. If you add it up, $1000
a month, or $250 a week, is about the ave income of someone making around $8-$9/hr working 40hr's a week. So I'm
basically making a FREE extra weekly check of someone earning $9/hr, 40 hrs a week, working at a retail store, a
grocery store, at the mall, or wherever someone is making $9/hr at. And I'm doing nothing but running websites,
posting on forums, newsgroups, sending out e mails etc. For an extra $12,000 a year and the potential of around
$24,000 for doing nothing but sending people to websites, you can't beat it, seriously, after you get it going, the money
starts pouring in and you never pay a dime, just refer people to websites.
